Hye ! This will be my first post for my new blog . Today , I would love to share my amazing and unforgettable memories during my first time to Makkah and Madinah ! 

On 15th Of December 2017 , My father , my mother and I were basically rushing to prepare our things for our 10 days vacation . Papa and Mama already know what to bring and so on since they went there a year ago ( 2016 ) but I am clueless but to be very honest , I searched and googled up a few blog about umrah  ( about what to bring , what to do there and so on ) and also my very best source , my cutie dimple Farha . She went there earlier than me . So , she gave me some good tips about what to bring and also some precaution ( her wallet gone guys ) #prayforFarha . So , now I would be sharing some tips for you guys pula hehe  ;

• Bring spray bottle for wuduk ( small one to fit into your bag , easy to carry anywhere ) 
• Always zip up your handbag  ( during tawaf so many people will simply push you  )
• Bring moisturizer ( The weather is very dry and so your skin )
• Please read and revise about  umrah before you go there , some mutawwif just guide you for the first umrah . But , the  Second , third and so on is by your own self .
• Learn to be patience *** this one very important 
• Buy tawaf socks to wear during entering masjidil haram and during tawaf 

Ok , I would like to continue my story , that night , about 10  P. M we went to KLIA by bus . The bus was prepared by the travel agent . My little brother and sister were basically cried since this time I would be following my parents too ( last time I took care of them when my parents went for umrah ) .Maktok ( grandmother ) , paktok ( grandfather )  , pak unggal ( uncle ) , mak ayu ( aunt ) were sending us off too . Kinda sad to be honest . (  tipulah tak nangis HAHAH ) . After some tears and goodbyes , finally the bus started to move . 

We arrived at KLIA around 2 A.M . Sleepyyyyyy !!!! Oh , We bought maggi cup since we forgot to buy some ( Makkah and Madinah only sold Indo Mee , NO MAGGIIII ) . While waiting for our flight ( 5 a.m ), the travel agent prepared some packed food , so we ate early in the morning * sigh . Ok skip some parts . Security check , passport bla bla bla . Ok done ! Finally I'm on the plane ! 

Oh ! forgot to tell you that I am going to Makkah first then Madinah .(the flight was to Jeddah ) . So men need to wear ihram and women need to cover their aurat properly . The flight took 9 hours ...  I slept and woke up just to eat , pray , eat hmm nothing much . 1 hour or 40 minutes before arrival , ( i dont really remember ) , Mutawwif will announce for jemaah to niat ihram .
Around 9 a.m , Jeddah's clock ( which around 2 p.m Malaysia's clock ) , We landed  safely at Jeddah Airport . So , we have to do the same thing , security check , passport ,bags bla bla bla .


11 a . m ,  we went to Al Haram by bus from the airport . It took around 2 hour so we arrived there about 1 p.m . The hotel we stayed about 6 days was at Al safwa Tower . Very near to Masjidil Haram . We just need to go down the escalator and then we will see King Abdul Aziz gate .

Our tourist guide decided to divide the  room . 5 person per room . Papa asked for a room for us  (family )  but we did not know what happened , the hotel did not have extra room . We also informed by the tourist guide that we will be staying at Hilton but human can only plan things , Allah decides . So , Mama and I were in a room with 3 others jamaah . 2 from Indonesia and 1 from Malaysia  . The restaurant served Indonesian food everyday . The room service very tip top , the room always clean and also wangi hahahaha . I recommend this hotel !

After Isyak , Our mutawwif asked us to gather at the lobby to complete our umrah which were to do tawaf , saie , and tahallul . Mutawwif guided us until we complete our first umrah ! I am very happy . The difficult part in larangan ihram was basically to prevent hair fall . ( or else kena dam ) . So , We went back to hotel around 1 a . m .


Day 2nd and 3rd , Mutawwif let us to freely walk and do our own activities ( pray , doa , pictures ) . Mama , Papa and I were walking around . Eating Ice cream , Kebab , Nasi Arab and teh tarik ! Oh , mind to tell you , there is a Malaysian food restaurant placed at the 2nd level of Safwa Tower . Teh tarik cost around 3 riyal i think . In Makkah , there were also services to serve the poor . All we need to do is to sedekah our money ( For example , 100 riyals to the restaurant or cafe ) and they will give out the food to the poor .



Day 4th , We were supposed to go to Hudaibiyah but since someone gave wrong information about the time we supposed to gather , mama and I and also our roommates were left behind . Papa basically stayed at the hotel since he wanted to spend more time at Masjidil Haram . I did not have any credit to buy internet this time . But , Papa gave mama and I around RM 100 credit just to buy internet . I bought the 3 days internet offer for RM 20 . I made mistakes such as I called my dad ( cost me around RM 15 for 15 seconds ) 1 seconds = RM 1 . and  messaging cost RM 1 per message . I am very disappointed as we were left behind . So , my dad and my mom decided to hail a taxi . ( It cost around 120 riyal ) .


We went to Jabal Rahmah , Mina , Mudzalifah , Mount Arafat , Ji ranah Mosque  , Jabal Al Noor , Makam Khadijah , Masjid jin . The taxi driver was very kind . He told us some stories about the places . Interesting stories indeed ! I saw the place about the stories of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim a.s . . SubhanaAllah . Thank you Allah for giving me chance to go here . Not everyone know about makam Siti Khadijah . We cannot enter without permission and only men can enter . We decided to just gave salam from outside . The last place we went was masjid jin . We went back before zuhur .

Day 5th , We did our 2nd umrah ! We went to Tanaim . The nearest miqat from masjidil haram .
Oh before that , the thing you guys have to adapt are :

• There are different mazhab here . ( Jangan pelik orang sebelah solat lain dari kita . )
• Women here are called Hajjah and men are called Haji . 
• Toilet placed outside masjidil haram . There is a building called 4 W.C , Which is toilet for women only . 
• You must arrive 1 hour or 30 minutes before prayer time If you want to pray inside masjidil Haram .
•  Friday is the most crowded day among the days . Especially during Friday prayer ( solat jumaat ) . Sea of human . Soooo manyyy people . 

The last day , We completed our umrah by doing tawaf Wada . This was the most saddest part . Saying goodbye and thanks to Allah for the invitation to HIS home . I miss Makkah so much . Makkah is the most peaceful place that every muslims should go . Allah knows how hard I tried to be patience and how much I had faced during the journey . Many things I learned here . Allah give us something that Allah knows we can face it . Thank you Allah . ❤︎
